Breast BEFORE & AFTER Patient 191: Breast Augmentation
*Keep in mind that each patient is unique and your results may vary.

Before & After
A 19-year-old female patient underwent bilateral breast augmentation performed by Dr. Crantford in Charleston, South Carolina. Motiva RSF 450cc implants were selected to achieve the patient’s desired increase in breast volume while maintaining balanced proportions and a natural-looking contour. Photos are shown at 7 weeks post-op.
For younger patients pursuing breast augmentation, Dr. Crantford places particular emphasis on proportion and long-term fit with the patient’s frame, since these patients will be living with their results for many decades. The RSF profile used in this case provides fuller projection while still reading as natural rather than overdone. At 7 weeks post-op, this patient’s results already show good volume and symmetry, with the implants continuing to soften and settle into their final position over the coming months.
Is breast augmentation safe for younger patients?
Breast augmentation is commonly performed for patients in their late teens and twenties once breast development is complete. Dr. Crantford evaluates each patient’s anatomy, growth, and goals during consultation to confirm candidacy and select an implant size and profile appropriate for a younger frame.
What is recovery like after breast augmentation?
Most patients take about a week off work and can resume light activity within 2 weeks, with full exercise typically resumed by 6 weeks. Swelling and firmness continue to improve over this period as the implants settle into a softer, more natural position.
