Our dedicated approach caters specifically to the needs of our out-of-town patients, ensuring their experience is seamless and comfortable from start to finish. We are happy to offer travel support for out-of-town patients visiting our practice. Historic Charleston’s historical sites, restaurants, shopping, and accommodations make it easy to combine your visit with a mini vacation.

Getting Started

We suggest beginning your journey by contacting our practice to arrange a virtual consultation. During this session, you will connect with one of our providers to discuss your goals and any concerns you may have. Following the virtual consultation, you will receive a quote that remains valid for six months. Once you have received your quote, you can leave a deposit to lock in the quoted price.

What To Know Before You Go

Please plan to arrive at least one day before your scheduled surgery. The day before your procedure, we recommend scheduling a pre-operative appointment to meet with your doctor in person. This will allow you to finalize your surgery plan and preparations.

Plan to stay in the area for a minimum of 4 days, with potential for up to a week or longer depending on the complexity of your surgery (such as a tummy tuck or mommy makeover). You may want to invite a trusted loved one to stay with you to keep you company and look after you as you recuperate.

You will have follow-up appointments with your surgeon during this time to check on your healing, remove sutures as needed, and discuss future follow-ups. Your surgeon will clear you to fly home when appropriate, which is typically a week or two after surgery.
