Dr. Louis E. Costa is a board-certified facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon and the esteemed director at CC Plastic Surgery in Charleston, South Carolina. Devoted to refining, rejuvenating, and reconstructing facial features, Dr. Costa helps his patients put their best faces forward. He works alongside his fellow surgeons to deliver exceptional, natural-looking outcomes that elevate the very best in each person’s unique appearance. 

In addition to his professional achievements, Dr. Costa enjoys hunting, fishing, traveling, and spending quality time with his wife, Cindy, their children, and their 16 grandchildren.

Education & Background

Dr. Costa graduated top of his class from the Medical University of South Carolina with a D.M.D. degree, being recognized as the First Honor Graduate. He was honored with both the Dean’s Award and the esteemed “Golden Hands Award.” He later received his M.D. degree from the University of Alabama in Birmingham, graduating with a 4.0 GPA and receiving the Special Award for Scholarship. His extensive training includes residencies in oral and maxillofacial surgery, head and neck surgery, and an extended fellowship in facial plastic surgery.
