Education & Background
Dr. Crantford is a native of South Carolina who was born and raised in Columbia. He attended the Honors College at the University of South Carolina, where his success earned him selection into the respected Phi Beta Kappa Society. Following his outstanding graduation with Magna Cum Laude honors in Mathematics, he decided to switch career paths and enrolled in medical school at the esteemed Medical University of South Carolina. He received the Rich Scholarship in recognition of his academic performance. Dr. Crantford graduated at the top of his class and was honored with admission to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
After completing medical school, Dr. Crantford was chosen to participate in the esteemed integrated plastic surgery program at Wake Forest University. While at Wake Forest, he had the opportunity to train alongside top professionals in plastic surgery and medical advancement. As a resident, Dr. Crantford and a fellow resident received the prestigious Nicholas Georgiade Award from the North Carolina Society of Plastic Surgery for their outstanding research project.
Fellowship Training
After completing six years of plastic surgery training, Dr. Crantford was invited to join the internationally recognized Hunstad/Kortesis/Bharti Center for Plastic Surgery as a fellow. The fellowship is one of a select few in the world that The Aesthetic Society endorses. During his fellowship, Dr. Crantford refined his advanced aesthetic plastic surgery training skills and continued to publish and present medical research.

Dr. Crantford has authored multiple journal articles and book chapters on advanced techniques in liposuction, facelift, gluteal augmentation, and various reconstructive procedures.
