Alysha Jackson – Practice Manager

Alysha is a Charleston native. She has over 10 years of experience in the medical field and has spent the last several years in the Plastic Surgery and Med Spa industry. She graduated magna cum laude from Charleston Southern University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree, and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Business Administration online. Alysha manages our entire practice and wears many hats. She handles all financial aspects of the practice, Human Resources, policies and procedures, and day-to-day operations. When she isn’t working, she loves spending time enjoying all that this beautiful city has to offer and living an active lifestyle. Alysha is thrilled to lead our incredible team!

Laura Shrum – Surgical Coordinator

Laura joined the practice in 2020 after graduating from the College of Charleston. She is Dr. Crantford’s and Dr. Ulm’s surgical coordinator. Laura enjoys adventure, thrills, and spending time with her French bulldog, King.

Maria Montoya – Lead Patient Care Coordinator

Maria was born in Colombia, South America and moved to Greenville, South Carolina, at the age of 9. Raised in a bilingual household, Maria has always been committed to assisting the Hispanic community. In 2014, she made the transition to Charleston, where she ventured into the construction industry, donning various roles, including administrative assistant, bid support, and a helpful hand for any task at hand.

Her journey took an exciting turn in 2020 when she joined our practice as a patient care coordinator. Today, Maria stands as the leader of our front staff and serves as a dedicated patient liaison. She takes on a multifaceted role, offering assistance wherever it’s required. While her primary focus revolves around supporting the surgical team, collecting payments, and ensuring patients are well-informed, Maria’s passion for continuous learning drives her to enhance the overall patient experience from start to finish.

Belinda Aboody – Pre-Operative Educator

Belinda graduated from the Presbyterian School of Nursing/Surgical Technology program in 2003 where she received her certification as a surgical technologist. She initially scrubbed in a hospital setting followed by (plastics) private practice. After 10 years she transitioned from the OR to a strictly clinical setting.

She has cumulatively worked in the plastic surgery field for 22 years! Areas of expertise include pre-operative education, OR scrub first assist and post-op clinical/surgical care.  With her incredible wealth of knowledge and experience, she is confident in providing surgical patients with pre op educational information in preparation for the big day!

Tricia Brobisky – Surgical/OR Coordinator

Tricia is a native of Charleston and has been in the medical field for 28 years and 18 of those years have been with the practice. Tricia enjoys boating and the beach with her family and friends.

Courtney Lobo, RN, BSN

Courtney is a Registered Nurse with her bachelor’s degree in nursing and master’s degree in nursing/family nurse practitioner. She has been with the Crantford Costa Plastic Surgery practice for 5 years and thoroughly enjoys her time in the operating room taking care of patients. When she is not at work, Courtney enjoys spending time with her fiancé and their 2 pups!

Jessica McGinnis, RN, BSN

Jessica has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in nursing and has been working as an OR nurse with CC Plastic Surgery for the last several years. Jessica has lived in Charleston for the last 14 years. She is an enneagram seven, loves to travel, and has a green thumb.

Katie Bauer, RN

Katie has been a Registered Nurse for seven years now with 2 years of specialization in plastic surgery. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Spanish at College of Charleston followed by her nursing degree at Trident Technical College. During her free time, Katie enjoys being on the water and spending time with her family.

Amber Hobbs, RN

Amber is one of our OR nurses. She has 4 years of surgical experience. She graduated from Appalachian State University in 2014 with a degree in Health Science and later obtained her nursing degree from University Of South Carolina. In her free time, Amber enjoys spending time with her family.

Ciara Taylor, RN, RNFA

Ciara is a Registered Nurse First Assistant who came with 7 years of surgical experience. She graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Animal Veterinary Science and later obtained her nursing degree. After several years in the operating room, she attended Gulf Coast State College and completed her Registered Nurse First Assistant. She is CNOR certified. When she is not operating, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 children, boating, and traveling.

Mike Donovan, DNAP, CRNA

Mike received a Master’s in Nurse Anesthesia in 2007 from USC School of Medicine and a Doctorate in Nurse Anesthesia Practice from Midwestern University in 2018. He has been providing outpatient anesthesia services in the Charleston area for over 15 years. He resides on Daniel Island with his wife Stephanie, son Nicky, pup, and kitty.

Tim McAdams, CRNA, MSNA

Tim graduated from MUSC in 2005 and has been providing anesthesia in the Charleston area ever since. He is married with 2 kids and, when not working, spends as much time outdoors or in the water with them as possible.

Elle Blakeney, RN, BSN – Lead Aesthetic Nurse Injector

Elle was born and raised in Charleston, SC and is currently pursuing her Nurse Practitioner degree at MUSC. She is the Lead Aesthetic Nurse Injector at the CC Skin Clinic, specializing in injectable services and non-invasive procedures. Elle is known for her unique and conservative approach to non-invasive injectable treatments and focuses her attentive eye on facial balance. She firmly believes that is why her patients leave looking like a refreshed version of themselves, not someone else. In her spare time, Elle loves socializing with friends and family, spending time on the water, interior design, and fashion.

Jessica is the Lead Aesthetic Laser Provider at the CC Skin Clinic. She has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in nursing and has been working as an OR nurse with CC Plastic Surgery for the last several years. Jessica has lived in Charleston for the last 14 years. She is an enneagram seven, loves to travel, and has a green thumb.

Gabrielle Miller, RN, BSN – Aesthetic Nurse Injector

Gabrielle was born and raised in Greenville, SC and moved to Charleston in 2020, refusing to leave since her arrival. She quickly fell in love with the city and all that living on the coast had to offer.

Gabrielle has been a Registered Nurse for 7 years with an extensive background in High Risk Obstetrics and Pediatric Hematology/Oncology. She has spent the last 3 years specializing in Aesthetics and feels passionate about making those around her feel more confident in the skin they live in.

She specializes in injectables such as BOTOX, Dysport, Restylane and JUVÉDERM fillers, and Sculptra® Aesthetic, while also focusing and prioritizing the integration and usage of medical-grade skincare and various other skin procedures/laser treatments.

She is very passionate about educating patients on the importance of utilizing both injectables and medical-grade skincare products to accomplish their skin goals, as she feels confident that the time you put into your skincare nightly is just as integral as the time you put into in-office treatments.

Gabrielle’s warm, compassionate approach is loved by many. The light of her life is her black Labrador, Calhoun. In his spare time, he models for a local dog boutique, Crew LaLa.

Gabrielle’s hobbies include working out at Ethos, boating, and her deep love for skincare. Her favorite places to eat in Charleston are Shiki and Cudaco. She also loves spending time on the west coast visiting her family in Southern California, and her favorite TV show is Suits. 

Kate Phillips – Patient Care Coordinator

Kate joined the CC Skin Clinic’s team as the Patient Care Coordinator in April of 2022. She graduated from College of Charleston in 2019 with her Bachelor’s of Science in International Business and Spanish. Kate is currently a part-time student studying to get her Master’s Degree in Public Health, Nutrition, and Dietetics. Outside of work and school, she enjoys spending time on the boat or at the beach.
