Breast BEFORE & AFTER Patient 183: Breast Augmentation
*Keep in mind that each patient is unique and your results may vary.

Before & After
A 35-year-old female patient sought enhanced breast volume and improved overall body proportions while maintaining a natural appearance. After a thorough consultation and evaluation, the patient elected to undergo breast augmentation with Dr. Crantford at Crantford Costa Plastic Surgery in Charleston, South Carolina. The procedure was performed using Motiva ERSF 315cc implants, selected to complement her frame and aesthetic goals. Photos are shown at 7 weeks post-op.
Choosing the right implant size and profile is central to achieving a natural, proportionate result, and Motiva implants are designed with an emphasis on soft, natural movement and predictable long-term outcomes. Dr. Crantford tailors implant selection to each patient’s chest measurements, tissue characteristics, and desired outcome. Before-and-after photos taken at 7 weeks post-op show meaningful early results, with continued softening and settling expected as the tissue relaxes and swelling fully resolves over the following months.
How is breast implant size determined?
Implant size and profile are selected based on the patient’s chest wall dimensions, existing breast tissue, skin elasticity, and desired outcome. Dr. Crantford discusses these factors during consultation to help each patient choose a size that achieves natural proportion for her frame.
What is recovery like after breast augmentation?
Most patients take about a week off work and can resume light activity within 2 weeks, with full exercise typically resumed by 6 weeks. Swelling and firmness improve steadily during this period, with implants continuing to settle into a softer, more natural position over the following months.
