Breast Augmentation BEFORE & AFTER Case 13

Before & After

This is an example of a breast reconstruction for Poland Syndrome. This is a congenital anomaly where one side of the chest does not develop normally.  In this case, the right chest muscle (pectoralis) is partially missing and the breast is not as developed (hypoplastic). This creates an unfortunate asymmetry that can be impossible to hide in clothing. Using different sized implants (and sometimes shaped implants), symmetry and shape can be improved. Fat transfer is also sometimes used to augment and improve contour.
Age: 18-24
Implant Size (Right): 350cc
Implant Size (Left): 250cc
